Only me...

What kind of loser puts finds the PERFECT green shirt the night before Saint Patrick's Day just to forget to wear it the next day?  Apparently I would.


Then, I get to school only to be that lame person who claims to have a bracelet, or hair tie or eyes (really, eyes?) to protect them from about 4 dozen bruises showing up the next day.  Yeah, that's me.



Let's just pretend that says:  "The Folks at Pattern Impossible" instead of "Our Accounting Department"

A Poem

This is a poem I wrote a while ago.  I don't know exactly why I'm sharing this with you.  I just felt like it.  Comment if you want, I don't care.  But thanks for reading it!  (P.S.  I KNOW it doesn't rhyme.)


In Kindergarten, we played tag,
Swung on the swings and
simply enjoyed each other's presence.

Now you've moved on
Made new friends, so have I.
But I miss your smile,
Your constant cheerfulness
And the way you could always make me laugh.

Last night I saw you again.
It made me wonder, had we still been
Best of friends, where would we be?
Would I have felt more in place last night
With your friends? Or would you have fit in with mine?

But I still have hope,
For when I left, you were standing there.
I saw a glimpse of our past
Our old friendship returned for only a moment,
And I began to think it wasn't all lost.

So, here's to what once was,
Perhaps what might be,
Perhaps what is only a dream.

Shrinky Dinks

I {heart} Shrinky Dinks!  (If you don't know what a Shrinky Dink is, click on the link and view the awesomeness!)

Well, for a Chemistry project, we had to make something out of a Shrinky Dink.  My genius idea was to make a ring.  I'm sure there are plenty of people who came up with this very same idea, and I'm sorry, you can take the credit for my inspiration if you would like it.  I doubt I was the first!

What?  You want to see pictures?  Okay!

Yes, I do know these aren't rings, but I made these too, out of polymer clay.

Oh, and once I get some more shrinky dinks, I'll be posting my 1st tutorial!  :)  I sound kinda stupid saying that...  And I guess I could do a tute for the earrings too.  Leave a comment if you want one!
